The house itself is at the end of a private lane within easy walking distance to the Doe Bay Resort & Retreat-where you can take advantage of the resort's sauna and soaking tubs or roam the grounds for a nominal day use fee. Nearby find the Doe Bay Café offering organic produce from local island farmers. Kayak tours also depart from the resort.
Find Moran State Park with hiking, swimming and a children’s play area about twelve minutes away. Or visit the town of Olga with dock or the cafe at the Orcas Island Artworks. A small grocery store can be found at LieberHaven Resort about ten minutes away.
